  • Business Development Executive

    Salary: Competitive and uncapped

     

    We are looking for an energetic and proactive Business Development Executive to join our Sales team in London. This is a key position within the team and an excellent opportunity for someone motivated to learn and develop within a high-growth AI / SaaS business. We’re looking for a versatile and tenacious team-player, prepared to handle varied tasks and strive for success.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Work to a brief to acquire organisational and contact information, and cleanse existing data in CRM. This involves the use of websites and direct telephone outreach.
    • Learn and articulate the Cipher’s value proposition. Ask targeted, intelligent questions to speak knowledgeably with VP-level executives and decision makers.
    • Instigate new business conversations, develop prospects to attend meetings with a BD Manager.
    • Effectively respond to all enquiries in a professional manner.
    • Use CRM to record all activity and client interactions.
    • Attend events/training sessions to improve your network and develop your understanding of Intellectual Property and SaaS.
    • Research companies and identify opportunities, follow up marketing campaigns by phone and email.

     

    Skills and Experience

    • Ability to pick up the phone, establish credibility and build effective working relationships.
    • Ability to multitask and operate independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • A team-player with strong interpersonal skills and ‘can do’ attitude.
    • Enjoy working toward and achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets.
    • Excellent written and spoken English, with ability to communicate to all levels of seniority.
    • An interest in Technology and Innovation would be advantageous.
    • Previous experience within a similar role in a B2B SaaS environment would be preferable.

  • Sales and Marketing Operations Executive

    We are looking for an energetic and proactive Sales and Marketing Operations Executive to join our Sales team in London.     Responsibilities

    · Work to a research brief to acquire organisation and contact information and cleanse existing data. This involves the use of websites and direct outreach.

    · Manage multiple contact databases and sales and marketing software.

    · Support Head of Sales with analysis of sales and marketing campaign effectiveness.

    · Timely allocation of inbound leads to the Sales team.

    · Contract administration and filing including records of sales and commissions.

    · Providing travel and logistics support

     

    Qualifications

    · Experience in a sales support role in start-up environment, with meticulous attention to detail.

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.

    · CRM admin and configuration experience. Ideally with Salesforce and/or Pipeliner.

    · Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment.

    · Ability to operate independently and flexibly, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Business Development Manager

    We are looking for an established, energetic and highly driven new business hunter to join our sales team located in London. A self-starter with aconsultative approach to selling B2B technology or information services to senior decision makers, you will be able to position the unique benefits of Cipher to prospective clients in the context of their specific business challenges and strategic goals.

    Main duties of the role:

    • Sell Cipher, the world’s leading strategic patent intelligence to UK, European and US based companies
    • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close.
    • Be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, emerging technologies, competitors, and identify opportunities for client growth strategies.
    • Deliver consistently high levels of targeted activity to ensure a strong new business pipeline.
    • Manage individual pipeline and forecast with high accuracy.
    • Collaborate with our BD team to continue the development of best practice.
    • Ensure a smooth transition of new clients to the Customer Experience team.
    • Ability to travel as required, primarily within UK and Europe.

    Our ideal candidate will have:

    • 3+ years proven track record of consistently exceeding personal new business quotas within a BI or software environment.
    • Strong solutions sales abilities. Challenger sales experience would be highly advantageous.
    • A STEM academic background and/or experience of selling solutions into IP and R&D professionals would be highly advantageous.
    • Experience of building effective working relationships both internally and externally, quickly establishing trust and credibility.
    • Ability to operate independently and flexibly, think strategically and creatively, with strong problem-solving skills.

    We are looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Experience Lead to join our Sales team in London. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer experience through effective customer service procedures, customer loyalty programs, customer satisfaction goals, and delivering customer training. We’re looking for a versatile member of the team prepared to directly handle customer support needs, and be fluent in our sector and products.

    Main duties of the role:

    • Respond to customer service/support issues.
    • Implement effective customer service procedures and standards.

    • Become a product expert, responsible for customer Cipher on-boarding, training and support.

The company is looking to appoint a Marketing Executive to be based in central London. With ambitious growth plans, the position will be a key member of the Marketing Team.

    As a Marketing Executive, you will be passionate about content and will strive for perfection and consistency. You will be resilient and will not be afraid to put forward ideas to both our Marketing Manager and Senior Leadership Team. In return for your enthusiasm, we will provide you with training and support into the world of Cipher, the leading patent intelligence software (cipher.ai)

    What are the main elements of the role?

    • Develop high-quality newsletters, campaigns and website content
    • Take the lead on our social media channels, our blog, LinkedIn and Twitter
    • Supporting the Marketing Manager and the sales team with planning and administration
    • Development of PR and partnership activities
    • Organise the attendance and sponsorship of events, webinars and conferences
    • Working with the Marketing Manager to take ownership of our digital and print copy, ensuring brand consistency across all channels
    • Fact check content on all campaigns prior to launch
    • Deliver appropriate metrics, campaign performance, optimise content and report preparation

    Who are we looking for?

    • 1-2 years’ experience from within an agency or marketing environment
    • An articulate and engaging writing style informed by excellent knowledge of grammar
    • Creative and intelligent writing that complements our brand and tone of voice, with an interest in technology and innovation
    • A positive can-do attitude is essential, plus the ability to work under pressure, with constant attention to detail, whilst always striving to produce the highest standard of work
    • Resilience and ability to take constructive feedback and criticism
    • Video and audio editing skills highly advantageous
    • Familiarity with ActiveCampaign, WordPress, Pipeliner beneficial
